These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a contract between you and HalalFlow Inc. (“HalalFlow”, “we”, “us”) that governs your use of the HalalFlow apps, website, and related services (together, the “Service”). By creating an account or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

HalalFlow sells curated halal meat boxes — premade boxes and custom boxes you build by cut and weight — at fixed prices, delivered to your address. You can order on demand or set up a recurring weekly or bi-weekly delivery.

HalalFlow is the merchant of record and the seller. Boxes are prepared by vetted halal suppliers and delivered by a third-party courier; you order from, pay, and are served by HalalFlow throughout.

All prices are fixed at checkout — the total you see is exactly what you pay. When you place an order we place a temporary authorization hold on your card for that amount; you are charged only once your order is confirmed and being prepared. A delivery fee applies to non-members and is shown before you pay; HalalFlow+ members get free delivery.

HalalFlow+ is an optional paid monthly membership that includes free delivery on every order and access to premium cuts and boxes. You can cancel any time; benefits continue until the end of the paid period.

HalalFlow is halal-only and vets the suppliers who prepare its boxes. HalalFlow is not itself a halal certifier. If you have specific religious requirements beyond a general halal assurance, please contact us before ordering.

If you leave a rating on an order, you grant HalalFlow a worldwide, royalty-free licence to display and use that rating in aggregate within the Service. You are responsible for the accuracy of anything you post; ratings that are defamatory or harassing may be removed.

The Service relies on third-party providers including Stripe (payments), Supabase (auth + database), Expo (push notifications), Resend (transactional email), and Sentry (error monitoring). Your use of the Service is also subject to their terms and policies where applicable.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. HalalFlow does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

HalalFlow is not the seller of the meat. The store is the seller. HalalFlow does not warrant the quality, safety, freshness, or halal status of any specific item beyond confirming that the store carries an accepted certification.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, HalalFlow shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid to HalalFlow in the twelve months preceding the claim.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless HalalFlow, its officers, and its employees from any claim or demand arising out of your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you materially breach these Terms, if we are required to by law, or if your use of the Service creates risk or possible legal exposure for us or a store.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes shall be brought exclusively in the courts located in that province, unless applicable consumer protection law provides otherwise.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The effective date at the top will change and, for material changes, we will notify you in-app or by email before the change takes effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
